Introduction
Similar to LACM campus programs, LACM Online offers an online hybrid program in Drum Performance: The Associate of Arts program in Drum Performance is a 9 quarter part-time Professional Degree program. The Drum Program curriculum for LACM Online was created by world-renowned department co-chairs Ralph Humphrey and Joe Porcaro to improve motor skills, technique, and sound, present contemporary rhythm concepts, and develop a wide range of repertoire across all styles. Courses are specially sequenced to maximize learning potential throughout the program. Additionally, it develops modern studio recording skills and informs students of important music business practices. This online hybrid program also includes 2 visits for intensive on-campus programming.
