Structure and Content
This Master’s Degree programme may be completed in a minimum of 18 months on a part-time basis. Below is the programme structure:

Pathway Modules
- Decision Analysis
- Managing Organisational Change
- Project Management
Research Papers 1 and 2 are to be submitted by end of month 12 and 18 respectively.
The Decision Analysis, Managing Organisational Change and Project Management modules are 7.5 credits each.
Entry Requirements
This Master’s Degree programme accepts a wide range of qualifications, which includes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Applicants with no Bachelor’s Degree but possess relevant professional qualification and work experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis
In all cases, the final decision for admission to the programme rests with the University.

Applicants are required to meet the University’s English language requirement
Delivery Methods
A typical term is a 3-month period covering 2 modules of study. Each module is supported with 45 contact hours of academic induction/seminar sessions. Classes are generally conducted in the day on weekdays.
Assessment Methods:
Each module is assessed by any combination of class participation, written assignments, projects and examinations. Assessment methods may vary according to individual module requirements.
Graduation and Degree
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Master of Science in Management from University College Dublin.
The Master’s Degree will be the same as that awarded to on-campus graduates.
Programme Fees
The total fee covers university registration, lectures/tutorials/workshops and assessments such as assignments/tests/examinations/projects (where applicable), programme materials in digital format, Degree (if earned) and transcript.
