Introduction

The American Women's College (TAWC) of Bay Path University empowers women to have a better career and a brighter future.

We realize you have many commitments that simply can't be changed. In turn, we created more than 40 online, career-focused, undergraduate degree and certificate programs on an accelerated schedule that give you the flexibility to learn when and where it's best for you, quickly.

Long-term studies show the best way to safeguard your career and maximize your earnings is to have a degree.

Median Lifetime Earnings by Education Level*

  • High School Diploma: $1.6 million
  • Some College: $1.9 million
  • Associate's Degree: $2 million
  • Bachelor's Degree: $2.8 million

While the numbers may be eye-opening, the disparity between degree holders and non-degree holders may not be new to you.

Maybe you've already felt that your lack of higher education means higher-ranking, higher-paying jobs are out of your reach. That although you've excelled in your role, you've watched promotions go to those with less experience than you.

You're not alone. More than 77 million women in America still need their degrees to excel in their careers, regardless of their hard work, dedication, and excellent performance reviews.

TAWC understands the many complex reasons a woman's pursuit of higher education can be put on hold — so we've developed unique support systems to ensure your success while maximizing flexibility and affordability.

For instance, we accept up to 90 transfer credits for bachelor's degree programs and 30 for associate degree programs. We also recognize that the classroom isn't the only place to learn. Through prior learning assessments for professional, military and volunteer experiences, you may receive additional credits.

At the heart of every learning experience we offer you'll find SOUL (Social Online Universal Learning). It's the award-winning learning platform we created that's proven to help you succeed. Featuring KnowledgePath, SOUL delivers a personalized learning experience based on what you already know and how you learn. For instance, it will suggest learning modalities for lessons based on your learning style, offering up content such as text, videos, audio clips, and interactive exercises to support a lesson and cement what you learn.

SOUL also includes data-driven interventions and customized support strategies for every student. It pairs you with an Educator Coach, a real person, who helps you prepare for your academic journey. If you start to struggle, the program's learning analytics and predictive models alert your coach, who will reach out to you with specialized support before you fall behind.

As a part of our bachelor's degree programs, you'll participate in We Empower Learners and Leaders (WELL), where you'll discover how you can advance yourself and others — the hallmark of a great leader. You'll learn to embrace the strengths of leadership and collaboration as you become more creative and empathetic — demonstrating what defines excellence in leadership. These skills will help you to advocate for yourself in the professional world and become a leader others naturally want to trust and follow.

Throughout the program you choose, you'll connect with women leaders in your area of study and discuss your ideas and learning observations in courses that are kept purposefully small.

We encourage you to reach out to the Sullivan Career and Life Planning Center right after you enroll. At the beginning of your program, career coaches can help you explore professions and majors in your degree and help you develop mentoring opportunities early on. For the rest of your life, you can schedule an appointment any time to get support in resume and job search strategies and to help prepare for job interviews and salary negotiations.

You'll complete your degree or certificate program at The American Women's College with the confidence to step into the next chapter of your career, and the control to write your story's ending the way only you can dream it will be.
